The internet is a global system where multiple computers or other devices are connected through internet protocols or IP. The internet is composed of multiple users where they communicate with each other and do things together or separately. The internet originated back in the 1960’s where the federal government of USA needed a network where computers will be able to communicate with each other instantly. It was also used for the military to make communications easier for them. Then later on, the network expanded by making personal computers connected with the network thus the transition into the modern internet begins.

In these modern times, the internet is mainly used for communicating like emails where messages come and go instantly without moving an inch unlike the old times when mails were mainly used and it took days, weeks or even years depending to which place you want to send your mail. There are also social medias where communication is also used through private messages and social media is also a way to socialize with people you know or don’t know. Social medias also offer posting where users post whatever they want varying from moments to even memories like how you looked like when you were young. The internet also offer news whenever you miss it from your televisions or newspapers. There are also blogs where people talk about something and even guide you through things you still don’t know how to do. Streaming videos is also a thing in the internet where there are sites that offer videos or even movies to netizens that want to watch their favorite shows or just want to watch something silly to fulfill their laughter. Netizens are also able to play games in the internet or buy them through websites that sells games. The internet also has a number of marketplace where each one of them sells a different kind of thing varying from things to even foods that could be delivered on your doorsteps.

You can do tons of stuff in the internet but you still need to be careful from using it. There are still sites that netizens aren’t aware of and danger lurks everywhere so always remember to use the internet wisely and to think before you click.
