Do you have a memory that you cherish the most? Well, I do but even if these memories are those that happened in the past, most of us still remember them till we die. Some memories are worth forgetting while some are not. Even if we tend to make new memories, there are a few number of memories we can’t forget since those memories are what made us happy or hurt the most. This is one of my memories that I wouldn’t forget about a girl I like, nope, I loved.
I woke up and went inside the shower. It was so cold that morning and I was listening to a song that I forgot but I know that it was good. While I was fixing my things, someone sent me a message. That message was from a special someone telling me to have a safe trip. I went outside my house to ride a tricycle to meet up with a friend that will lend me a ride to our meeting place. We arrived at the meeting place me and my friends agreed on and went swimming after that. Me and my friends were having too much fun in the swimming pool. We played different pool games and even race with each other. But the best part of that day was I am with the person I love the most. I was just looking at her the whole day while we were having fun. After swimming, we went to the nearest mall to hang out and just rest. We were inside Jamba Juice which sells varieties of freshly made juices, smoothies and more. I was beside her and it was so romantic because we were just holding each other’s hands that was hidden under the table to hide it from our friends while sipping the freshly made juice that we bought. My friend then told our group that we were holding hands in a shouting manner. We were startled but we both just laughed it off to hide our embarrassment. After that, we just chilled inside the mall and took a stroll. It was already night that time and our other classmates needed to go home. She said that she needs to wait for her mom to come and fetch her. Even though our classmates went home, I stayed with her. I just wanted to be with her that time that is why I still didn’t want to go home. I stayed with her and it was totally worth it. We just took a stroll around the mall while talking with each other and laughing at each other’s stories. That time, it was just the two of us and every moment we did was so amazing that I can’t afford to lose those precious memories with her. That night, I hugged her really tight just to tell her to not leave me but I knew that those moments aren’t permanent and stories will end whether I like it or not. I walked her outside the mall to send her home through Grab (online peer to peer ride sharing) and hugged her again one last time because I won’t be able to see her since there were no classes because it was summer that time. After that we just talked with each other through messenger but eventually ended up separating ways. Even though it hurts me till now remembering that memory, I still cherish it the most. I’d say that it was the best thing that happened to me but nothing is permanent, it will eventually be gone or fade out. I really remembered that day compared to other important moments but I learned that there are many precious days that I still will remember but those precious memories are’nt permanent, cherish it you’re whole life since it will be a piece that will complete you as a whole. I’d say that you should forget things that might make you remember someone who hurt you but don’t forget the things that made you happy the most.
This is my new format for my next few blogs. Hope you enjoyed 🙂
