Sleep

June 20, 2019

Sleep is an act wherein a human’s brain stops from operating the body to rest and the whole body recovers to relieve fatigue. In a day, a normal human being needs at least 8 hours of sleep for its body to fully recover.

Sleeping is needed by our body because this is the state where we relax our body and let our bodies recover from fatigue and even stress. In this stage, nutrients are also transported throughout the body that is why the more nutrients you take the better your body will be after sleeping. This is also the state when our bodies immune system will fully engage viruses and bacteria throughout our body and sleeping is one of the ways to recover from being sick.

Yesterday I slept for 10 hours while there is school and is the first time where I got a long sleep for the past few days. When I woke up this morning, I was fully energized compared to these past few days and this day, I was productive than ever and I am hoping that I could continue this way of living but there is still a ton of school works awaiting me for the next few days so maybe I might be able to experience this kind of thing when there is not that much thing to do.
