An earthquake is the movement of the ground caused by the movement of the Earth’s crust or volcanic eruptions.
Earthquakes often happen in the area of pacific ring of fire where my country Philippines is included. In this belt, certain volcanic activities happen and everyday, earthquakes occur from the smallest one to rarely the large ones.
On this day, an earthquake drill was conducted. We did the duck, cover and hold that I learned since I was little and we went outside our school to transfer onto an open area wherein we waited until everyone is out. Then the teachers said that we could go home immediately after the earthquake drill
