Intramurals Day 2

July 4, 2019

After a day full of sports and games, the second day of intramurals begun. This day, other sports continued where they left off. Starting from the brackets of those who win yesterday and also the ones who lost. I joined one event in board games. I played chess and our strand got second place because of my partner. I was eliminated quickly because of the three step move that the pro chess player executed in our game. Well I really knew what was going to happen because I was in the wildcard round. I didn’t really want to play anymore so I jinxed the game quite. I still had fun because I became friends with the opponents and the students inside the room where we played. Overall that day was fun because I also had a moment with the girl that I like and that day was really memorable with me.

This day I learned that I should really accept defeat and let sportsmanship prevail. Even if I lost or won, the important thing is that I had fun in playing that kind of game and throughout the journey, losing is part of it and I should learn from those experience. I will remember that I should improve the next time I try a specific sport or game again.
